Is it possible to fit an electric fan whilst keeping the original steel bladed fan in place regards Roger

Yes, dad has two small computer fans cable tied to his radiator and wired to the heater.
If in traffic and starts getting hot then puts it on. Worked every time as has been fitted for years......

I would have to question why you want to keep the original metal fan? Part of the advantage of an electric fan is faster warm up. Another part is less drag on the engine from removing the original fan. The third part is cooler running in traffic. Why not have all three bnifits.

I have fitted a small electric fan in front of the rad (it's tight) and removed the fan blade.
