Anyone want to buy the DNA Bug. Despite my best efforts it wont start. I cant get a spark at the plugs. I have changed leads, Condensor, Coil, Dizzy. Put and Earth from Coil to Engine, Put an Earth from Engine to chassis yet it still wont spark at the plug. The thing ran last year. It run the year before and it ran on my bench. If I had hair I would be tearing it out. Anybody here got any suggestions please.

Stiffy, I had a similar problem that was caused by power leakage at the points, burning the point plastic. It would run for so long then die, took long time to identify the problem. After the problem identified I changed to electronic points...now starts first time, or after cranking if left allowing fuel to evaporate. Go electronic regards Ayrbugger

Put one finger in the end of an HT lead, then hold a good earth while cranking it over. It is bound to give you a shock up the arm then. There must be somthing simple in there that you have missed. Have a cup of tea and go back and check it later, you are more likly to spot it then.

I have a spark now but still wont start. It sort of run for a bit but sounded like crap. I rang terry and we swapped the leads over but still no joy. I got fed up with it and slung it back in the garage. Pissed of with the bloody thing.
