just happened to notice the other day that in one 24 hour period there were 147 guests visit this site, that amazed me that figure when i also noticed that just one guest posted a message on the site. that is an awful lot of silent visitors and one is probably YOU reading this post right now. anyone care to speculate on why this happens ? or is this just human behaviour ? also is this limited to the Bug community or are all forums the same ? it all feels a bit creepy
Vannin, There are a lot or Assh.... about who spend time interfering with forums trying to interrupt them and post weirdo messages. We've had them on one motorcycle site and three car sites that I view as a member. Once they get round the site access they cause problems. Ayrbugger
thanks for the input guys. i think that some of it is i still find all this cyber stuff a bit artificial and hard to adjust to but i suppose some people as has been said just like to have a read at what is going on in the world wide web of Bugs
I also check the site almost daily, and sometimes several times a day (I get lockdown-bored reading the news all the time, so come on here to read something of quality instead) and I notice the site only sees me as a guest unless I log in. But often I don't log in if there is nothing I especially want to contribute to, so 4 or 5 guests in one day might be just me.
tmallen: Just registered as I am looking to purchase a BB, I have one in particular that I am awaiting more information on. In the meantime, anyone got one for sale or know anyone who has, please send me details. Thanks

Kev: How easy is it to remove body from chassic?
Apr 23, 2020 18:37:51 GMT
ayrbugger: Kev, Open up forum and go to bond bug problems...there is a section re removal of body. You'll need three strong blokes or as I did a hoist and a support frame, and a strong beam in your garage to hang it all off.

V8 Bug: I owned bought a bug in 1972 and had 3 years of fun with it. Around that time I saw an article about a number of bugs that had been fitted with V8 engines for an Arab prince. I think this was done in Wales. Anyone know anything about these?
