Hi I've just purchased a bug which we literally pulled out of a field . Im trying to ID the car reg number from the Chasis number. Is there anyway I can do this. I've found out its a 700E with Chasis starting 616 Many thanks Vinny

Have you joined the club? Contact the historian, who has access to the chassis lists.

Very occasionally reliant stamped the chassis number on the chassis above the bolt on the rear off side suspension. If its there it will need a good clean to see it.

Thanks for your help. I haven't joined the club yet but would appreciate the historian's details if possible. As it's been parked up for so long I might consider dismantling it looks crusty underneath but is 95 percent complete

I've got the Vin plate and engine number is also on the VIN plate but haven't checked yet to see if it matches.
