Help!!

So guys, I finally got the engine running won't tick over etc but runs, a good friend who's a proper old skool car buff is coming tomorrow to help me get it right, he said do I have the timing figures? what does he mean? any tips would really help.

I assume he means the ignition timing, to do a proper job you need a strobe light and unfortunately you need to time it from underneath the car, the timing should be 10 Deg before TDC but when you are working underneath I think the timing is set at a different figure as the chain case have another set of markings, I guess those more knowledgeable will give you the figure.

Yes think this is what he needed the 10 Deg, the engine is in the chassis so should be fine to do , cheers!
