I was standing outside my Bond today and attempted to close the canopy. It offered some resistance so I pulled harder There was a crack and the canopy closed. Looking inside there was a lot of damage where the strut connects above the instruments What happened or what did I do wrong.

You might have to rebuild the area - It may have got week over the years. an you post some photos so we get an idea?
