Sorry do not have any adjusters, but I was able to recondition mine.
I thought I had the same problem as you but after a liberal dosage of penetrating oil and persuasion I was able to free off mine and now have a working set.

Thanks but its all the plate and everything thats gone on mine.
As anyone ever reconditioned canopy hinges if so how do go anout it ?

For the canopy hinges you can drill out the pins and fit bushes and new pins. The holes for the threaded studs can be drilled out and re-tapped or heli-coiled. However you can get new hinges easily so is it worth the effort to keep the original hinges? There is a post elsewhere on this forum where Stiffy recommends a supplier, I used them and they were good quality hinges. I was surprised that they were aluminium ones, but I see this as a plus point.
