Anyone know what the thread for the retaining screws on the fuel tank sender unit is? I am getting fuel seep along one of the screws and appear from under the screw head. I am thinking new screws and some sort of petrol resistant screw sealant/gasket sealant.
I am sure this is not a problem unique to me, so would like to hear how others have solved it๐

I did have this problem. I think I just fitted a new cork gasket though. Don't know what the tread size was though. Gasket is the same as many other 60s/70s cars so easily avalable

I fitted a new cork gasket with suitable sealant and that cured it for me. Think that the size is 3/16th (that'll be wire gauge 10 @ 32TPI in old money I suppose???) ...there's a metric size almost the same that can be used - you can get a socket head for those that might be easier to fit with the tank in situ.
