Hi guys, has anyone else got a CL fitted to there bug? Not sure if this was standard as it’s not in my original wiring diagram?

It's not original, hence not on the wiring diagram. But a lot of people fit them for running the sat nav and phone charging etc. Best to run a separate fused feed from the battery.

Agreed the feed should always have its own fuse. If you wire from the battery then the CL will be permanently live. If you want it to be off when the car is left then wire from the ignition switch. Or, third option, wire direct from the battery but put a(n illuminated) switch in between the fuse and the CL.
CL was available (factory option?) on the Rialto and was wired downstream of the 35A battery control fuse. The wiring diagram does actually have a 'vertical' line which is not fully clear on this copy:
