where's the cockerbug 2 thread gone from the events section Ron ? clearly if someone posts something you don't agree with you remove it ! so whats happened to free speech and voicing an opinion ? to maybe (heavens forbid) improve things in the future ? take your rose tinted glasses off and just accept that more than one person didn't think that cockerbug 2 was a roaring success
I though I had posted a reply but .........mark it seems that you want to carry the point that the rally was to long you made your point on the day I listen and responded yet because you don’t like the answer you want to now make the point again in a public forum which is quite frankly poor.... we are not an organised bug rally we give up our holiday cottages at our cost and spend time organising live music food and events ...... most of which you didn’t attend or stay with the main group..... you arrived Friday tired didn’t join us in the pub..... Saturday complained the rally was to long..... left early from the charity event we had organised you were the only ones not to join in ...... and left early on the Sunday before the road runs.... all of those decisions where yours to make and I only make the comment to show the lack of commitment for you....
It seems that after your comments that cockerbug 2 was not a success you will not be attending cockerbug 3 !!!
stan: I will be selling my Bug, I had it for about 4-5 years and getting a wee bit to old to crawl underneath.

burlmeister: m looking for a replacement petrol tank. Does anyone produce them? Secondly, I need to replace the tyres. There is a sign in the car and in the handbook, only cross ply tyres to be fitted. No idea why this should be. Are cross ply tyres still available?

ady: For the petrol tank try looking up triggergas on ebay, he might be able to make you one. You can fit radial tyres, most people do. There is plenty of choice of tyre for it as they are the same size as a Mini. You can still get crossplys if you want
